EMERGENCY PLANNING FOR BEAMINSTER

The Emergency Plan and the Flood Plan for Beaminster were revised and adopted by the Town Council in February 2009. The Council has worked with many outside organisations including the Environment Agency, West Dorset District Council and the County Council to produce these documents.

The Council are delighted to have set up a Flood Warden Scheme for Beaminster where 9 residents have offered their time voluntarily to help protect the residents and properties within Beaminster
